I've been an automotive mechanic for 6-7 years and I've seen some shit. One guy at a training program I was at broke into another guys car and wired the ignition circuit back and into the seat cushion so when the guy tried to start the car he electrocuted. It was a lot of voltage too, he basically got tased.
Another one was a coworker who filled a balloon with oxyacetylene (cutting torch gas) and tied a frayed wire into it then wired it into our bosses left blinker and had the balloon taped under the vehicle. Our shop was on a corner. When the boss left for lunch he pulled out onto the road and stoped at the intersection next to the shop. There was a lady crossing infront of him and he hit his signal light then BOOM. A sizable fireball shot out from under the truck and the lady probably almost shit herself. She screamed and rushed to the sidewalk. Boss was obviously pissed.
One thing I used to like to do when I worked at a kal-tire as an alignment tech was charge up capacitors and set them on random spots around the shop. When people would pick them up they would get zapped hard. The shop had a high staff turnover and most of the tire guys were young students who didnt know any better so the joke stayed fresh for a long time.
I have many more stories too.

This wouldn't work in Asia, no one uses their indicators in this shithole of a continent.

That would actually be a kind of funny prank. Just reconnecting shit in someones car or house. Like the main light switch would be connected to the tv or some shit like that.

you've got some serious pranking issues if you bother breaking into a car and fiddle with the wiring so something like this happens
