To me EA's most egregious recent crime has been their treatment of Fuse, which was formerly called Overstrike. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, a game called Overstrike was announced at announced at E3 2011 and was being made by Insomniac, creators of the Ratchet and Clank and original Spyro games. They put out this amazing trailer:

After that, EA decided to have them rework the direction because of focus testing, and then the game got changed to Fuse, which looks more like this:

**** EA. At least Activision doesn't **** with existing franchises or good developers.

Which gives them a statistic to point at that lets them say "Hey look this is why we need DRM" and everyone else have no other choice but to go "well **** , I guess you're right".

If you don't want to support EA and their business practices don't play the games that they publish.

I don't think any of us, in typical internet fashion, really understand or know what's going on with EA and its developers and decisions. I've heard micro transactions were actually the choice of the developers, but at the same time I doubt EA didn't have anything to do with that. We should really start doing something instead of complaining that no one else is doing something. Personally I've got no beef with EA, I buy certain games and I like those games. There are certain copouts that are obvious, like Dead Space 3's ending. There are one's that aren't so clear on what exactly was happening and why, like Sim City servers.

People like the guy who made this video I think are actually pretty similar to EA. They see something lots of people dislike and so they look up a list of the things that are disliked about it, or maybe formulate one from what they've heard, and make a video out of it because "Hey, if I make a hate video for EA everyone will watch it and I'll get more views!"
