Yea but the idea of it is to not lose energy in the process of motion. However the laws of physics prevent this, simply because movement needs energy in itself, and the energy created by the motion is not enough to sustain the movement. What these are good at is conserving the energy. But the idea you had is right, I just wanted to expand on it.
