It's not recorded what standing still does with it. If you have some distance between you and it, don't turn away, and don't approach... It doesn't move other than its head as far as anyone's recorded. But maybe it's like a Weeping Angel. Only moving when you can't see it. Either way, have multiple lights on you at all times, not just one or two flashlights...

It's the least I can do to try and help. Theory's they may be, it's better than nothing. Remember, it fucks with electronics pretty badly. If possible, get a fire-lantern before you go. Wind resistant is best, and have that on while the flashlights are on too. Gotta have your bases covered as much as possible when dealing with a paranormal anomaly, right?
