Velociraptor in Melbourne

And for someone who's sitting dumbfolded thinking "butbutbut jurassic park?!". Thing is, it has only recently been discovered that the raptor-family had feathers. At the time of JP1 and 2 it was thought that the raptors had bare skin. By the time the third movie was being filmed it had been discovered that they in fact had feathers, it was too late to change. The evil raptors in the first two films still had to be the same evil raptors in the third film after all.


And as phoner said, the raptors in the movies are modelled after relative to the Velicoraptor. :)
