All fun and games until one guy think's it's real and shoots one.

If anything, this just goes to show how fucked we are when the actual zombie apocolypse happens. WHO SMILES AND LAUGHS AT A FUCKING ZOMBIE WALKING DOWN THE STREET!???? A soon to be fellow zombie, thats who.

if they installed hidden speakers near some really busy streets (preferably New York)
set it as
1) a siren like those you hear of emergencies to start a confusion among people...
2) people look all puzzled and then fake fogs like they use on stage shows coming from a nearby alley then
3) those sounds before a horde attack like in left 4 dead2
4)a horde of zombies attacking and hire some actors to pretend to be attacked and shit
5) fake police to show up shooting blanks at zombies to show them as they are invincible
6) watch people shit themselves

Thing is, what if someone really believed it and attack/killed one of them. Would that person be arrested because for all he knew he was protecting people.

To be completely honest, If I was in New York at the time this took place, and I saw one of these "Zombies", I WOULD grab something large and beat their heads repeatedly.
