WHAT should have been a memorable victory quickly became an embarrassing case of miscalculation for motorbike rider Riccardo Russo.
Russo showboated around the track after what he thought was an easy win in the Stock 600 category at the Italian CIV Championship, seemingly unaware he was an entire lap too early.
As the Italian continued celebrating, 13 other riders passed him, leaving him red-faced in 14th place.
Alessandro Nocco claimed the most unlikely of race wins.
