The Amazing atheist, stupid american youtube comments and videos have lead me to believe that your country is in shambles and quickly falling apart. But I think as time goes on it can slowly come back and reform its self into the nation it once was.

i must say that the way USA is presented in the SATWcomic is my actual impression of the people living in The United States.
i know that this is not every US citizens way of behaving or thinking but the wast majority of Americans have a hard time pointing out Finland on a map. Most don't know what currency is used in France or know that Europe is not a country. But each and every one of them can, when asked, start to name every god damn US president that has ever been in order of when they sat. my point is that The impression that most of the world including me is that US citizens is utterly self centered about their country, and have no interest in knowing or learning ANYTHING about the rest of the world.
I my self is Norwegian and i don't know who the fuck that was our prime minister 2 turns ago, and that don't make me less patriotic, all it say is that i don't give two craps about Norwegian politics.
i know that this is a quite stereotypical view, but behind every stereotype there is some truth. And Americans often think that they are the top of the world, the best country ever, that they are the shit and no one can compare to them. and this way of thinking often come off as quite arrogant. this is why the world have a negative view on USA. and if you read the other comments I've seen while writing this, Americans get butthurt and mad at this guy (in the vid) for telling the truth. They call it "communism", "unpatriotic", "Talking down about your own nation". As the man said... the only way of fixing a problem is admitting that you have one. and the problem in many situation is the American pride. and this is what it all boils down to. That the world see the US citizens as "too proud". USA is not the best country in the world, still 90% of the country yell it out loud every chance they got. This is not because they are ignorant, it's just what they have been thought to do all their life. Being proud of their country. but sometimes it's just a little to much

I believe that, as the video says, USA were in fact the greatest country in the world time ago; but maybe since the war of Vietnam everything started to go downhill. I think the biggest issue you have is some of your own people. The ones that take advantage of his "freedom" to do things in the way they want and think is the best one without minding other people, not caring about the fact the freedom of one ends where the freedom of other starts (this also applies for some of your politicians). Also I think you really have a problem with some of you being almost zealots with your religion of choice, trying to make the people live the way and religion you think is better for them without minding his opinion.

TL;DR: Your biggest problem is the fact that some of your people try to force the things to be the way they want them to be without caring about the others.

The acts of a few have caused me to doubt the American people, however I know many are the same as me, hard working and looking to help others. However, as with many countries, there are many problems and sometimes the way the American government tries to solve them alienates their own people against others and causes strife throughout the world.

Don't equate the government with the people, we might vote for them, but it's not like they do what they say they will during the campaign.

Yes I know, I am sorry if I failed to make that clear, it seems your government does what many do, makes promises and then breaks them, however your government has two exact opposite parties, one, as I see it, stands for the equality of all people, while the other stands for, only the best should get what they want.
