These are a pair of wings I've been making on commission for my friend on FA for her fur suit. All of the orange and blue parts were designed by me and printed on a MakerBot CupCake 3D Printer and the black parts were laser cut. The wingspan is a little over 7 feet.

There is a lot of background noise that I'm too lazy to take out.

The wings are not done yet. This is just what I had gotten done for the Kansas City Makers Faire. The wings will start in a relaxed position then raise up at the push of a button and flap at variable speeds according to how much a finger is bent.

You will notice that it seems like the camera is shaking, or that it looks like I'm swaying back and forth. This is actually the force of the wings moving that is causing the manikin to wobble.

Is this a prototype? I hope you plan on slimming it down.
