This is caused by a deficit while learning to crawl, the infant probably didnt lay enough on its belly and was all the time on its back, witch caused those movements. This is what happens to your infant when it trys to learn crawling and you dont give its body the necessary stimulation to aquire the abilitys....

Give your newborns a stimulating environment where there are many stimuli and lay them on their bellys when they are awake, so they can aquire motoric skills, lay them on their backs when they are asleep to prevent crib death.
