Memes are like the joke that everyone knows, and they're becoming the new, "Hey, did you see that episode of so and so last night?" They show up on your Facebook page, CNN, your work emails, in random unsolicited emails on a Sunday, everywhere.

Well, I wanted to make a VIDEO tribute, and give it my own little spin as well. So I'm working on a YOUTUBE VIDEO based off Internet memes. I would like some feedback, if you have the time, and any feedback would be well received. Here is the link to an early alpha trailer and a description of the game's details:

I really must say, the part I really agree with most on this is the point he made on rage faces.
The simple act of taking a real life image/gif and OUTLINING it into a black and white png...
<---completely ruined the original meaning behind this.
It's also a shame on how often things just get recycled around the internet these days really, there aren't enough new ideas being put out and viewed, and given attention to...and when there is, it usually ends up becoming "meme-ifyed" in some way. People remake them into rage comics, or slap on year old jokes that were killed the day they were made in the first place.

All of the pre-made ragefaces completely destroys anything original, especially on FJ. People would rather thumb shitty ragecomics than good, well-thought, and funny OC, and it's horrifying.
For example, whenever someone comes up with a new advice-animal style picture and claim it as OC, people will always say shit like "Forced meme is forced" and shit like that. No, that person is not trying to force a meme onto anybody. The OP is trying to introduce something different and funny so we aren't looking at the same shitty memes and posts EVERY DAY, but he puts it in advice animal form to ensure that it's not so different that everyone shuns his idea.
Don't you see, FJ? This is the wake-up call the internet needs. To start over. To think up new and funny things instead of continuing to watch everything near and dear in our internet circle the drain. When I was a newfag, all of these memes and ragefaces were pretty cool to me, but now, it's been taken way too far. We are growing to be so unoriginal, and it's depressing. /rant
