where is this from...its an amazing message

I do not believe we can be hindered by these things for long. They’re only natural because we created the environment for them to thrive in. Change the environment, change the natural behavior.
User avatar #27 to #26 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
they are natural because its in our DNA...ancient civilizations went to war with each other once they found the other existed...not because of the environment...because before they discovered the other civilization...they didnt worry about the other attacking them first...its in our DNA to dominate others...it always has been
User avatar #28 to #27 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Then we must find a way around it.
User avatar #29 to #28 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
i dont know if there is...if its in our DNA...there isnt much we can do about it...
User avatar #30 to #29 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Genetic research says otherwise...
User avatar #31 to #30 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
this is Genetically changeable its instinct...survival of the fitest...a fight or flight state of mind...not all minds are alike...thats what ive been trying to say its beyond geneticts really its instinct the human nature and instinct
User avatar #33 to #31 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Instinct is developed through evolution, evolution is the product of a need to adapt. If we can get it so people need to adapt to a new way of thinking, we will. Not everyone will be willing to give the things that have brought them the pseudo pleasure they’re so use to… But they will come around in time..
User avatar #32 to #31 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
isn't* Genetically changeable

The Dictator by Charlie Chaplin. I use as a mission statement, a way to see the world… I believe that this can be used in daily life… Do not take my words to be an attempt at religion.. But i think these are truer today than they were in the 40’s the film came out...
User avatar #7 to #6 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
i agree machines tend to leave us greedy and wanting to discover more...not for the best of mankind...but to destroy another human being...I wish people could see it though but its impossible...Man will always twist the truth to their benefit...which will lead to an abuse of power...
User avatar #8 to #7 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Only the weak will search for power in those dark places… Tis the strong of will, the strong minded who can resist the vices that shall rise. But those who are strong are few, this results in the weak manipulating us into doing the work they themselves could no do, because they were too scared to drive for it..
User avatar #9 to #8 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
That...is why it makes it impossible...when the weak gain power...they abuse it they destroy rather than create...but the strong of will...there can be strong will but without intellect...its just another weapon used to destroy...Adolf Hitler had Strong will power...instead of using it to a good cause he wiped out millions... intelligence is a double edged sword...with intelligence comes abuse...with abuse comes wrong doings...wrong doings bring division...but without intelligence there wouldn't be life saving medical discoveries...as long as abuse is remotely possible...its IMpossible to obtain peace it would seem...sadly this it what seems to be the truth...
User avatar #10 to #9 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Hitler was not of strong will, what is mistaken for strong will is a drive to hate. It is self-destructive and will only betray you in the end. My goal is to help the weak become strong, so they won’t search for power in dark places that has such dreaded results. So we can all have strength, so we can all be equals. No one person should have power over another. It is a crime we as a species are yet to acknowledge. The utopia that Chaplin wanted can happen, but it would take awhile, but the end result would be worth it… It is possible, the first step to this admitting that is possible. By saying it is a pipe dream or a fantasy makes you no better than the weak who do not wish for such a world… A world where they have no more power than anyone else.
User avatar #11 to #10 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
Hitlers will was to erase the world of the "unfit"...He Did have will...he miss used his will...but u see when the weak become strong...not all will stop there...they will crave more power...seek it in wrong ways and like mentioned before abuse it when they find it in new technological discoveries...i agree that no one human being should rule over another...its not right men are not meant to judge or rule...The whole utopia Chaplin spoke of is actually impossible sadly...Im not weak dont take me as weak...i wish for a world like this...but if you stop and think...The nature of humanity is dominate its surroundings...surroundings can be the terrain surrounding them to even the people around them..."A world where they have no more power than anyone else." is impossible there will always someone who feels they are smarter, stronger, faster, or nicer looking than others...thus making them believe they deserve to be on top...
User avatar #12 to #11 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
But if we are all strong, then those who think themselves superior will nothing to compare it to. We would all be equals, the only reason others claim to superiority is because there is weak individuals. Without the weak, those who wish to better than others, have no way of doing it.
User avatar #13 to #12 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
Even if the whole world was equal amongst itself...sadly others just see themselves as superior...the human mind doesnt need an excuse to feel superior...it can deem itself superior due to pride...and pride will always be arond
User avatar #14 to #13 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Pride can only take those who are weak, who need to feel superior. Men and women who feel unloved. They try to get others to love them for something minor. In turn they try to make others feel inferior because they themselves are weak, and must others weak with them. It is a greed that works alongside doubt. Pride can be helpful, but a desire for praise is not pride. It is a form of weakness. People desire praise when they feel unloved because they close out those who love them. They do not know what it looks like when others love them because they cannot pick up on the feeling of true love. Our society portrays praise for doing good deeds as the ultimate form of superiority. To be acknowledged for one’s deeds is a sign they doubt themselves. That doubt feeds upon the weakness and sadness that it creates. We torture ourselves because we feel unappreciated for our good deeds. But we must keep the idea that our good deeds, big or small, are appreciated whether people tell so or not.
User avatar #15 to #14 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
Pride can take anyone strong or weak...pride strikes those who are strong most...those who are strong can sometimes begin to see "well im already good so i dont need any more help i can do this on my own"...which leads to a search for more power...we were not created equal each person looks different...each person looks different...each person acts different...one may think blonde hair is more attractive while another thinks brown hair is better...then and there blondes are deemed better than browns...or vise versa...as long as there are differences pride takes ahold of anyone...the thirst for acknowledge ment is minute...one can become prideful on the thought of "look at how much more i have done than everyone else" even if they arent looking for acknowledge ment...
User avatar #16 to #15 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
That is what i was talking about, human nature is driven to that point. It does not get there naturally, it must sent to that point. Society makes us feel that way, we have been shaped to desire that false pride, only because we have been influenced by those who wish to separate us, weaken our humanity. We only accept the greedily desired praise as the norm because that has been set by the weak willed because they wish to be rid of the strong. They are jealous of those who have will to do things selflessly without reward. They see those people being happy and do not how to get that feeling without destroying the happiness of others.
User avatar #17 to #16 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
"without destroying the happiness of others" thats what i mean...its going to happen pride will effect sooner or later and cause one to go after more than what they have...we are driven to that point and mans nature is naturaly to make a way there...and we have not been shaped but were born that way we desire to obtain more...when everyone was little they wanted to grow to be the tallest...to be better...there are weak willed and strong willed strong is not good and weak is not good weak leads to an obsession for power due to the lack thereof, while strong leads to pride and to remain strong...
User avatar #18 to #17 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Only if we keep the same way of thinking, if we change the way we think, we change how society thinks. We can get it so such thoughts, such desires are pitied. Because People who are weak in that way are most effected by public opinion. If public opinion is geared in such a way that makes people reconsider their choices about claims to praise and desire for it. To make those people think why they won’t such things, and offer an alternative. To help deter them from falling to those vices.
User avatar #19 to #18 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
But wouldnt the strong be using public opinion to control and guide the weak to their will? cause public opinion said mass murder was wrong...but it didnt stop hitler much...not everyone follows public opinion and no one ever will...either way the nature of the human is to comand and conquer so if the strong dont do it the weak will if the weak dont the strong will...it takes a completely different type of strength to best both stron and weak...and no one on earth has that quality...a quality that both the weak and strong can agree that is obviously the best choice...
User avatar #20 to #19 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
As true as that is, if we stick to the concept of all are strong, and the strong help the weak become strong, then there is no problem.
User avatar #21 to #20 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
the problem is how do we know once we think one is strong enough....that they wont get greedy and become even stronger? and if they do become stronger we would push ourselves to become stronger so they wouldnt boss us around(working to dominate others)
User avatar #22 to #21 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
When one feels content with life, when they are happy with out having to make others sad. Tis’ then when have reached maturity, true power. The ability to not affected by hate, by greed that is how we will measure it.
User avatar #23 to #22 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
there is always someone who doesnt feel content...there always will be...someone will get greedy just because its who they are...then seeking power people will step up "why isnt he/she stoping?!? we need to become stronger so we can defend ourselves"...i would love world peace but...its just not possible for humans...we fight no matter what its our second nature...
User avatar #24 to #23 - koroboros (04/28/2012) [-]
Only because we let it become second nature. If we wanted to, we could be rid all of these horrible things. Granted it would take time, but it is possible. All you have to do is want it, believe in it. Believe in me, believe in yourself, believe in those around you!. Believe in the goodness in man and we can achieve anything! We built the airplane, and put a man in space 30 years later! We can do it if we have the drive. If have the drive to be a better people, if we are willing to ignore those who wish to influence us to stop. To deter us from our potential. Men and women who do not wish to lose their status because they realize that they are no better than the rest of us.
User avatar #25 to #24 - frigglefraggle (04/28/2012) [-]
its second nature because that is how man is...not because we let it...u cant avoid nature...it happens no matter what...man has goodness but it is shadowed by greed, pride and much more...these will always be in the way no matter what happens down the road...those same planes created are now a days used to bomb enemy ships, level cities, destroy small villages,....after entering space out of mans own nature they decided to put satellites up there to spy on other nature cause they dont want to be bested...its just second nature to be better than others and dominate...
