, "but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice."

AHAHAHHA No. Remember Iraq? Remember Libya? Can you see Afghanistan? PEOPLE HATE "INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE".

This kind of shit, "boy soldiers" has been going on for decades. This is nothing new. There's little to nothing we can do about it, either. Throwing money at it won't magically cure everything, believe it or not. I feel for those kids, but if we send soldiers there, the kids will be forced to shoot at our soldiers, and our soldiers WILL SHOOT THEM, AND THEN WE'LL GET IN TROUBLE FOR SHOOTING KIDS.

If everyone had the attitude of "there's little to nothing we can do" , then NOTHING would get done in this world!
My grandfather used to say 'the word CAN'T aint done a darn thing!" Can't wasn't never part of his vocabulary.
Lastly, you don't know with 100% certainty that something will Succeed &/or Fail if you don't at least TRY!
It starts with ONE voice or vision and then the rest they say is HISTORY!
"You need to stand for something or else you've already failed." Lyrics to a song well sung.
My grandparents always taught me that there's only ONE race: the HUMAN race.

It isn't only about throwing money into a charity. It's more about getting people to know what's going on and then let them decide if they want to help. Not through donations but through getting the government to help also.

I'm sorry, but that sounds great on paper, but is a terrible idea.

Sometimes, I wish America didn't give a fuck about the rest of the world and did want it wanted, like back in the 70's-80's

No moron, people hate unjustified wars. In no sense were the missions in Iraq and Afghanistan purely for the sake of "Justice" even though they were hidden behind that veil.

In addition, nobody has called us to send soldiers there to fight. Any troops stationed in the area are there to aid the governments in bringing him down as advisors, so your "TROUBLE FOR SHOOT KIDS." point is irrelevant.

With great victory comes great sacrifice, sure children may be killed in order to stop Kony, but take a look at the bigger picture.

I'm sure they will listen to reason if we just talk to them, right? Kony and his soldiers will magically go away if we just believe hard enough?
I have my own personal viewpoint and explainable justification of Iraq and Afghanistan, btw.

So many children would die in the stupid fucking conflict, it would be international headlines about how many people were massacred as a result of the foreign intervention. Clearly, the soldiers they already have there are pretty incapable of defending, and who the hell would want to shoot a child, even if they're armed? These "aid" organizations hardly give any of the donated money to actually fixing anyway and put little band-aids on something that's been cut in half. Almost useless.

With great victory comes great sacrifice, indeed. So much for being against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.....

I have no intention of arguing with an idiot so I'll just point out that you missed the most significant part of the quotation.

"With great victory comes great sacrifice."
"With great victory"
"Great"

Yeah, sure. Anyway, I was just talking about the whole "international justice" usactingasworldpoliceagain thing.

There are all kinds of small missions around the world being supported by the US government that we don't hear about. This is not a new war, it is more of a diplomatic gesture. All the video is requesting is that 100 soldiers that are ALREADY THERE stay there to train soldiers who are citizens of Africa to do all the fighting.

The rebel group has no support from any government and I seriously doubt there would be a shitstorm if a bunch of Libyan soldiers started gunning them down.

It may not be a new cause, but it is a worthwhile one. The man who made the video is a pompous stargazer who wants fame as well as justice, but the ends justify the means in this case.
