As can be seen across Europe, the socialist system which seems so compassionate on the surface actually is relatively short lived before the wealth is spent, and creates a dependant society which despairs at the thought of self reliance.
Austerity, a word new to many, was the most searched word in 2010. The word saw more than 250,000 searches on the dictionary's online tool and came with more coverage of the debt crisis.
Sadly, the American Left is hell bent on copying European socialism, even as the world watches it pathetically melt down in such a state of humiliation that China has even stepped up, offering to bail out this once great continent brought to it's knees by socialism.
