im 17, im almost deaf in my left ear, and my right is less then the norm, been that way since i was 4, had 8 operations, none worked, so now i have a bone anchored hearing aid, and i can tell you from my personal experience, hearing things for the first time is a great goddamn feeling

People calling fake because she can understand and talk, when you spend your whole life lip reading, you can pick up mouth movements, and if you have the right movements with your mouth can form words, that's why deaf people that can speak usually sound very nasally, when people use sign language they mouth the words they are signing, so picking up a language is as easy as it is for people that can hear perfectly.
I don't know if this is fake or not, it very well could be, but calling it fake just because she can talk and understand words is crap.
