Sedated or not, the fact that you find humor in a situation that the animal had no control over makes you a small person. I've had to put animals under the knife before, they feel like crap, drugs or no drugs. Never once found humor in that.

The cats not drunk if you wait till after the vid and look at the other youtube vids the first one is the same as the one you just watched it ses sedated after visit to the vet no the cat is probobly fine.
