Ron Paul was old in 2004, tired of seeing that cult leader, let the fade die already.

He "couldn't beat two weak candidates" because the American media discredits him as much as physically possible, due to the fact that has "radical" ideas of individual freedom threaten their multibillion dollar enterprise.

User avatar #11 to #9 - yunogasaii (11/07/2013) [-]
Edward Snowden revealed secrets about the government spying on its citizens. The government wasn't really all that happy with it.

I've said this before, I shall say it again.
Every country with the capabilities and funds to do so, is spying on every country they can afford to spy on. You've got at the very least 30 different countries watching you right now. Get the **** over it. I don't care if they're spying on me, but I personally would like to be involved in the surveillance business. I'd be doing the same in their position, but I'd outright tell people I was spying on them but don't actually care what they're doing and was only doing it to keep up appearance of power. The only reason people are bitching about the NSA is because Snowden reminded them of what Bush's Patriot Act created.

Because people don't vote based on a quote from the internet while ignoring all other politic opinions and arguments that the guy has presented.

He put it on the internet... I mean he might have meant it to just be viewed by Americans but it doesn't work that way.. And Ron Paul is a nutcase (although I agree with him time to time).

That guy who blew the cover on this whole thing... everyone is calling him a ******* patriot and **** . This guy is not a patriot, he's a terrible person. He's a ******* asshole and idiot. The government was just trying to keep us safe but this guy ruined it and now everyone is over reacting to what the government did. I'm sorry that i'm not paranoid and think the world is out to get me... ******* nutcases. Calm down and get over yourself, you're not that important that they'd waste their time spying on you. This was supposed to protect us from terrorists and other things. If you have nothing to hide then there's no issue. I hope this guy is caught and thrown in prison for being a god damn traitor.

You should not have to appease your government when they violate your rights.

we all know where appeasement goes. The principle of the matter is that our government no longer fears, or works for the American people, which is grounds for corruption, class warfare, etc.

How come this guy isn't being elected? Out of all internet related political OC I saw, he is the only sensible and reasonable guy who is ideological rather than pragmatic.
User avatar #81 to #80 - corso (11/08/2013) [-]
Because the media reports on the candidates from the two major political parties, and no one else.
User avatar #105 - yuukoku (11/08/2013) [-]
That's a valid point, but the government can counter that with the idea that Snowden shared information to the general public, and thus, other countries. I don't know why they haven't stated this yet. Maybe I just haven't heard it.
