So I just got Hearthfire for Skyrim. Is it true that if you have kids in the game, that you can't move them to your home that you built unless you have the Bedroom wing to the home? There are the beds that are in the main hall, but on this one forum post I saw said that the kids can't sleep there.

he's right, I'm 90% sure you MUST have a kids room in order to adopt

Damn, I also should have mentioned that these are your created homes that i'm talking about, I already know about the kids bedroom deal in houses that you buy.

Then what's the point of the beds upstairs in the main hall?

If you don't want to waste time building a full bedroom wing

Right, but I heard that the kids can't sleep there and I'd have to build the bedroom wing to be able to move my family there.

You need a child bed and a child chest to let a kid move in

Whoever told you that is either full of it or had a glitched game, I don't have a bedroom wing in my house but I was still able to adopt just from setting up a kids bedroom upstairs.
(also if you're just starting to build, all I can say is: Iron A whole goddamn lot of iron

Xbox, though I haven't played skyrim in a long while, the last time I played it was when I got Dragonborn DLC, I got bored of it about a day after I beat it.

Right, but I saw a guy that said that the bedroom wing has to be created if you have kids, and that the kids can't sleep in the upstairs beds in the main hall.
