Hey guys, I'm starting up a playthrough/gameplay commentary series. Right now I'm up to two videos and I just wanted your opinion on the second. In particular, does the intro video following the opening clip feel too long? Do you kind of feel like, "Man, this long ass intro doesn't make me want to watch the whole thing."

I'm open to suggestions for the next game too, though it can only be for the 360 or Wii, since my PVR is only compatible with current gen consoles. I was kind of thinking Assassin's Creed: Revelations multiplayer, Skyrim or Borderlands for the next video.

hargleblarg (06/22/2012) [-] I'd scrap the intro if I were you. I don't use an intro in my gameplay videos because people click the link to watch the game, not an introduction.
Your microphone is a little fuzzy as well, so your voice sounds slightly messed up, maybe invest in a cheap but clear mic? I picked up a really good one for around £8 a year ago and it's still going strong.

I took it down again because when I uploaded it directly to YouTube instead of publishing it to my computer first, the video quality came out shitty. So currently I'm publishing it again and then I'll upload it to YouTube.

My brother and I want to invest in a snowball microphone, which is pretty pricey but we figure we might want it for a lot more than this. But we just blew $190 on this PVR on Tuesday (freaking next-day shipping from Amazon for $3 = awesome), so we're a little short on funds for now. Maybe we'll look around for something cheap to use in the meantime.
