I'm going to get an Xbox 360 at gamestop today.
How much do you guys think it will cost with a year of online and everything I need to go online?

If you get a slim you won't need an adapter.

A year of Gold in England is about £35, the Xbox itself (depending on the model) will cost anywhere between £100 and £300, and the games go for about £30. The wireless adapter will cost about £30, too, but you could use an ethernet cable, which will be cheaper and give faster connection, however, you will have to keep the xbox next to your router. You might want a controller too, which will cost about £20-£25. Overall that's somewhere between £175 and £400. Could be more or less in America.

a refurbished xbox is about $100, i think. XBL is $60 per year. a wired controller is 30, i think. a wireless adapter is $100 the last time i checked, but you could use an ethernet cable. however, you can buy one of those bundles that range from 200-400. the 400 gets you everything you would need for online play.

I did a quick google search and the adapter was only £26 on one site. I got my xbox (original elite) for about £200 I think, and that was a year back or so. The bundle would be a good idea too, yeah.
