I've also played many RTS games, they're the only reason I play games on my laptop lol.
Warhammer has a variety of races and armies to choose from. And each of those has their own little theme that they go off of.
Pic related, it's a Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marine, they have a sort of ancient Egyptian theme going for their chapter.

If you do get one of the RTS games I suggest grabbing Dawn of War: Soulstorm. It has the most races and some good maps.

I can link you to a website that will tell you what games you can and cannot run. To use the site though you have to download some software from them that will allow them to scan your computers hardware and see how it stacks up against the games requirements.
If you're not comfortable with a program from this website scanning your hardware then don't go to the site.
