It is, that game made my childhood.
Everything about it was fantastic, ended up downloading an emulator and rom to play it the other week.
Grandia 2 was amazing as well, even if the stories were unrelated.

i still have my old psx solely to relive that game. Just finished typhoon tower last time I played, I always forget whether or not what door you chose made a difference so even years after i still managed to have a wtf moment when justin didnt wake up at first.

Also I never had grandia 2 of xtreme. Although what ive seen of 2 looks good.

I've got a PS2 lying about so should I find it I can play it, no idea where the game itself is however :( I do need to play it again though, you said Typhoon Tower then and I can't remember what the feck it is.

Grandia 2 is fucking fantastic, brilliant story, combat is basically the same but the way mana eggs work is they are leveled up and you can equip them to your characters, so rather than spending loads of them on magic, you get an egg specifically for healing/defensive magic, fire spells and all that.

3 and Xtreme looked good, never could find them where I live though. Dunno if thats a bad thing or not though because all the reviews I saw for them pretty much said they were both shite compared to 1 and 2.
