So i'm just strolling down the road and suddenly i see a town, small quiet little village. Not much activity, not much amusement. I walk around and see that most of the houses are for sale, going from 2000 gold pieces to around 120 000 gold pieces. So basically, the whole town is on the market, and here I am with about 300 gold pieces.
Did I mention the town is really quiet? You see the blacksmith going about his business but apart from that most people just hang around with their head down, as if bored of life or something. So, being the Hero I am, I decide to play some lute in the town square to cheer everyone up ( Did I mention I'm really good with the lute?). At first, you don't get much gold, a couple of coins out of pity, but once I get cozy with my instrument, everyone starts going wild little by little. I mean, they're throwing hundreds and hundreds of gold pieces! I hear the women cheering me, the men doing shout-outs, the whole village is in an uproar.
Then things start to get a little weird. People start throwing so much gold at me it's starting to be ridiculous. I literally get thousands of gold for every passage I play, and ten minutes later i find myself with about 150 000 gold pieces! These people just threw at me their entire life savings! I decide I should probably stop before people get in too much of a frenzy, and the moment I put my lute away they all turn around, get depressed again, and walk away their heads down, as if they never even saw me and I magically end up with the entire town's economy in my pocket.

I buy every property in the village and double the rent price.




So yeah, Fable 3's a pretty balanced game.
