Gameplay wise New Vegas is better, but atmosphere wise Fallout 3 kicks the ever loving shit out of New Vegas. In 3, it felt bleak and depressing, like humanity is still trying to survive. New Vegas has a Casino several hundred feet tall...I think that speaks for it'self...

I think New Vegas keeps the feel of the original games. It shows how society is still going strong despite the horrific events of before.

True, but personally I like a dark and depressing feeling more than "Look at how awesome humanity is! Even after the Nukeular holocaust we still have a Pornogphy bussness!"...But that's just me...

Yeah, I don't like the route they took with New vegas, but I do love the DLC. It's wide, varied, and Lonesome Road encompasses the struggle of humanity.
