expect a typical mmo with ridiculous amounts of grinding grind and fest quests, a weak story, and lots of lolis
i hate most of the f2p mmos, none of them know how to make a really good game. tired of your shit, asia.
why cant they make a game combining the professions, talents, races, classes, story lines of WoW (but changing it up a little to where it makes sense and completely different)
and adding it into a first person skyrim game, with a huge player-base like runescape.
all the free MMOs have many things that i dont like. Most have too many grindy quests which blow ass, while others have no PVP or lack player contact which also blows dick. But most games just have shitty enviroments which restricts players from traveling past map boundaries with invisible walls. (pisses me off) At least put mountains like WoW does and add a fatigue to the waters.
WoW is successful because it has great enviroments which also goes along with the races and cities. (the houses arnt just a fucking box frosted with a picture on the side to make it look legit.) A good majority, you can go inside. Yes, most of the houses are duplicates of each other, but they are different for each race which makes they seem unique. By far, the cities in WoW are my favorite. especially the originality of them. Ironforge is my favorite.
Wish other MMOs would take the little details as examples, because most dont and fail miserably.
Also, a good MMO has a LOT of armor and weapons that vary and are unique from each other. No one likes the MMOs (such as Tera) which only have 7-8 different sets of armor throughout the entire game.
Although most games dont do this, but i think proffesions should be able to craft the most superior armor in-game. Because most players dont see any profession rewarding, and no one gives a fuck about them. At least they are somewhat important in WoW which is what makes it a good game.
Most MMOs also lack character uniqueness. Customization options are obviously crap, dont bother with height, everyone makes their character the tallest. Characters need a lot of spells and talents

well they are f2p you cant expect them to put in the same effort as paid ones when they get a fraction of the profit from ads
well they will get a shitload of players to play them.
imagine if WoW was free to play, there would be 10x more players than it already has. It might not get rich, but it would gain fame, FAST.
So if i owned an MMO like Tera, id change it to where a lot of people would want to play it. Then only have things like quick leveling perk or in-game money exchange through the currency of real money. And the obvious, like realm transfer or gender/faction change which will cost real money. There will also be 1000 levels, so it dosnt feel like you are grinding, you level really fast, but in reality you will be leveling as fast as if you were going to level 100. There will also be many spells along the way, although you will have to choose between them and build up your character. The game will also be balanced only through trial and error.
For example, you choose mage. You either decide if you want a fireball, frostbolt, or electricshock. Depending on what move you choose, you will go down the tree and your options will be based on your first decision.
There will be so many spells, your spell bar couldnt possibly hold them all, which means you will only be using the ones you like best. Therefore all characters will be unique.

i actually hate wow i find the combat boring and story meh so i really dont get why you keep saying its great
no it wouldnt quite honestly the combat in skyrim was alright for small badies
the main storyline fell prey to bethesda meaning it was boring and cliched

mmos arent just pvp theyre heavily reliant on player to player communication and interaction meaning parties that want to go PvE in tera its terrible
also they are reliant on a good main story to keep the solo players interested so constant fetch and grind quests ruin them

PvP is important but you have to realize its only one facet of the game
so PvP everywhere would be a terrible idea unless you had some way of deterring much higher level players from destroying newbies

city guards anywhere near a city.
out in the wild is pvp everywhere, you respawn in a city graveyard or graveyard far away. You can either respawn there or back at your corpse, but that would cost a respawn stone or something like that.

thats really annoying a lot of players dont want to have to be constantly attacked when traveling from places to place or doing quests
and if a player kills you before the guard gets there it wont do much a good and if they get there in time what could they do to stop you
