I really liked it, if your going to play it, I'd recommend playing with a friend or else it will get really boring really quickly.

It's like retardedly hard, but it's meant to be played over and over again...My advice would be don't even try to beat the game till you are level 20 at the very begging...

I fucking love Dead Rising myself. Just mindlessly killing zombies for hours on end is beyond fun for me.
I got an Xbox just for Dead Rising in 2007, went to my cousins to see some family, got asked if I wanted to play DR for a bit, spent 2 hours decapitating zombies with a shovel whilst laughing like a madman.

Yeah. It sucks.

why so?

Well, I never played the first one. Only have the second one, so I'll just talk about that one.

For starters, takes a lot amount of time to kill zombies (if I remember correctly, never played in awhile) and when you try to kill one, another horde comes after you so you you're forced to run away. Weapons don't last long that much. But I did like the baseball and the bat, though. Retarded missions. But this is just my opinion of the game.

The main point of the game is to slaughter the zombies mind, kind of why there are so many hordes and weapon degrading. You need to scavenge weapons, combine them for better ones, do the story/piss about and kill zombies. If you put the time into it and level your character up its fairly fun to play, although it is frustrating at lower levels because of the low health, strength and the ability to only carry like 4 items.

I see your point, that's why I got it back from my friend because so I can try again. But I just forgot about it and never played it. It also sucks for me because..well, I deleted the saved game. (Another reason why I didn't play it again.) And yeah, that was frustrating.

I don't know how, exactly, but I find Dead Island to be better even though it's almost the same thing.

Yeah, if I were you I'd try Dead Rising 2 Case Zero if you have XBL. If you get to level 5 in that you can start a bit higher in DR2 then, makes it a bit easier to play, and if you put the time in it is genuinely quite good fun.

I rented Dead Island and I enjoyed it, but once you left the Resort area for me it just slowly degraded, especially because when you had to defend the garage from zombie attacks the first time before you go to the city, my game glitched out, froze and when I restarted I was locked in a room in the city with no weapons, no objectives and no way to go anywhere and it had saved over my original save, was not impressed at all.

I would, maybe, get it to try it out, but I am planning to buy SR2 for PS3 (Xbox version got scratched), Lollipop Chainsaw (I know a lot of people said it might suck, but I like to try every Zombie game), and Minecraft. Maybe some others, not sure.

Yeah, I play it now and then, but it bores me faster than some games. And that sucks, sorry to hear (In this case, read) that.

Fair enough, I played SR1 and hated it so I skipped 2 completely and then my sister bought me 3 as a birthday present. I've not seen anything for Lillipop Chainsaw but I'll probably get it if it gets cheap quickly. Minecraft is great fun as well, well worth the 1600msp IMO.

I finished Dead Island afterwards, but I played a lot of co-op with mates before progressing my own game so I lost like 15 hours of progress, I started off with the asian who's good with katanas but then I just moved onto Sam B, gotta love that tackle skill.

SR1 was a little good for me, I guess. I just hated the clothes and car designs. SR2 isn't as boring as SR1, and I liked it better than 3 itself. I found a copy of Lollipop chainsaw $15.00 off, which I will get. With the preorder bonus. But I might not get Mincecraft for Xbox because I play a lot of Xbox Originals, which takes up all my time.

I only played as Sam B but I never got too far on it, actually. And I didn't like Co-op.
User avatar #31418 to #31415 - ilieksheep (05/25/2012) [-]
I just hated 1 in general, couldn't get into it, baha. I don't even know how much Lollipop Chainsaw is to pre-order in the UK, probably between £30 and £40 though.

Co-op was fun on Dead Island but not amazing, more fun with people though I found.

I actually played the second one first. Then I played the first. (I'm mixed up, lol.) Yeah, but I hope it's worth buying, though.
User avatar #31421 to #31419 - ilieksheep (05/25/2012) [-]
Baha, I never even touched the second one, I debated it then my sister got me 3 so I never bothered :L
