if you don't like helmets, but if you like sunglasses, get the four-eyed perk, free charisma point for you

get lockpick skill up too you'll miss out on good gear if you don't. get the educated perk as early as possible.

Get the mysterious wasteland perk. You encounter random people and events and not only that but later in the game youll encounter aliens and you can take their ray gun.

i planned on getting that. it adds awesome to the game

Once i got the raygun i used it to help me kill a mother deathclaw and her offsprings.

Fuckin cazadors! Those piece of shits were the only thing that killed me in the entirety of the game.

Is there any other weaps besides the Ray Gun to use that's possibly more effective against the Cazadors?

assault carbine, minigun, anything automatic really should take care of them without much of an issue

Oh I see. Atnd right now, since I have all the DLC, I'm currently at the Big M.T., and there's a lot more there to deal with, and they're waaay worse than those damned Cazadors. (Ex. Lobotomites, some Cyber-Scorpions, and those damn Nighstalkers!)

There are other guns. though these are the ones i used. try the plasma Gatling gun, the hunting rifle(has to be fully repaired in order to do critical damage), the .44 magnum.

Yeah, it sucks :/. It also scared the living SHIT out of me, when Deputy Dickface (can't remember his name, it's the one robot that practically stalks you the entire time) tried "jumping in and saving the day" and got his shiny metallic ass handed to 'em.

No you can head left following a road. But there is an abandoned campsite filled with cazadores.
