Anyone ever played Arcania: Gothic 4? I rented it and it's due to be in the mail today.

It received an average rating of about 6 out of 10, but I also heard that the game was very buggy on release.

Did anyone like the game?

meh it is a leniear rpg with some collecting and crafting elements. i found it rather boring but if thats your thing...

So the game isn't still bugged? I saw gameplay trailers for it way back, and thought it looked pretty neat. That and it'll be a couple weeks before I can rent The Witcher 2. Too many reservations.

i feel you man. the witcher 2 god i love that game. but no it is not that bugged anymore.
but as with all the Gothic games there are still some, not much but some. you should have seen gothic 3 my god was that a piece of bug crap. the game would crash for no reason saying an error has accured meet the guru... da fuq?
