I think Skyward Sword was an amazing game, but it just feels like it could have been SO MUCH BETTER. Like Ocarina of Time was amazing, but it felt like it was at it's peak, Skyward is possibly just as amazing, but it just makes me feel like it could have been way better.
It's an opinion man, if you need me to explain I will.
Well first I have a question. Are you going to rip my head off because I think Skyward Sword is amazing, or because I'm being picky and was disappointed by it?
I hated it at one point too. It was a pretty fun game, but the aspect it fell short in in my opinion is that it didn't give you that sense of adventure that the rest did. The rest of the games had a shit ton of secrets that you had to actually work for to find, but in Skyward Sword all the secrets were super easy to find and were even marked on the map. Every other Zelda game is a free roam, but in SS you just kinda go into portals that take you to smaller worlds. All this could have been fixed if they would have just connected the world together in a smoother manner. Other than that I think everything else done was perfect, but that little flaw just sorta ruined the whole game for me. That and it was super easy.
Here's how small the game is.
I learned the layouts of the fucking areas.
And I never, ever do that shit.
The flying around mechanic is basically a three dimensional version of sailing around on the King of Red Lions' ugly little brother, and the boss battles didn't let me use the items I found in a cool way to beat the boss.
It just showed off the move controls.
In conclusion, I feel that this game is LoZ's shitty little brother trying to get up to his standards without realising noone likes him (Like CS or BF or something compared to CoD.

The problem with that analogy is that both CS and BF are better than CoD.
I don't necessarily like SS enough to play it more than once, I just feel like it fell just short of being really good.
I feel like you're only focusing on the boss fights.
I thought other than Ghirahim and that body builder version of Ganondorf the boss fights were pretty good.
