Whichever way you go on that quest you won't hear the full story, as each side tells a different version. You can take her to them, then change your mind and kill them, but there'll be a lot more of them than the original two you see in Whiterun, so be prepared to fight, plus a boss like guy. If you're confident in your combat it's worth doing for the money. Or just flick on God Mode if you're not confident but on PC.

If I remember rightly you'll get money off her at the end as always when completing a quest. You can loot them all as well once you kill them. Up to you really, there's no right or wrong.
