Seriously, though, we're gonna need to see some specs. Usually, the graphics card is the part that causes the most issues. You could also try to update all your drivers. That sometimes helps. Also, if you're running windows 10, you're kind of fucked no matter what.

Heck yes I'm going to shill W10, I'm enjoying it more than 7 and I haven't had any problems after upgrading. I suppose that is a case by case situation and I may be an outlier but I just wanted to give my two cents.

You're definitely an outlier. Pretty much everyone I know's complained about it and gone back to 7 in a month or two.

Ah fair enough. Anyway, arsenymous you should try reinstalling W7 and seeing if that does really make a difference

Yeah, there's yer problem. Most games just aren't optimized for windows 10, because windows 10 sucks ass. Sorry. At least you could always reinstall it and get windows 7.

laptops are basically non-upgradeable. you'd have to get a new laptop to keep up with recent games

where you bought the laptop from is usually the best place to start. if you dont remember you can download software called Speccy www.piriform.com/speccy/download/standard and take a screenshot and upload it here.

Depends if the model of your laptop is one you can open and switch out parts, I believe most laptops you can't do that
