Just got into magic, managed to get interested at the start of M13, thanks gods. Now my girlfriend and i play it, funnest shit ever.

just curious about magic.. I bought a theme deck level expert ( by accident ) like 6yrs ago and a few booster packs for it ( never found another person in the region I live at who likes / plays magic ) and I was wondering if it is decent.. ( never got into magic at all )

The theme deck I have bought is called Mirrodin, Wicked Big Deck ( still got this today with original box and like 33 extra cards from booster packs ( only decent one I found is called Swamp ) any tips? or should I get rid of them to someone who cares about magic?

Well, if you don't want them you can sell them for a good price
But find a place where people sell magic things, like a small store. They probably play there
If not put something on Craigs list or something. People may come

I got Vorinclex Voice of Hunger, Sword of Feast and Famine, and a bunch of other Mythic rare cards when I got my first booster packs and starter kit (I only remember those two because they were my favorites) now I have a ton of mythic rare cards because I always seem to get booster packs with 1-2 mythics in them. One of my other favorite mythics is my Wurmcoil Engine because it's a 6/6 with Deathtouch and Lifelink, when it dies it splits into two 3/3 wurms, one has deathtouch the other half has lifelink.

What color decks do you play? I use Green Overrun, and Red Burn decks.

I never play white, not enough really stand out creatures to me. One of my friends has an artifact deck, it's pretty cool. I have one artifact creature that's 12/12 with trample, infect, and it's indestructible. It costs 12 manna to cast it but it's worth it. It only takes 10 poison counters to kill someone so if it hits a player directly it's a one-hit-KO.

Things like this piss me off.

I keep a bunch of green instants in my deck that destroy enchantments and artifacts like Pacifism lol. I hate cards like it.
I just went and found the card, it's called Blightsteel Colossus. It also has another ability that says if it's ever put into the graveyard by any means you instead just shuffle it back into your deck. This thing can never die.
I have another creature that's probably a lot better than the Colossus in the right situation, I forget what it's called but it's power and toughness are equal to the amount of forests I have in play. Since I use pure green decks it usually has at least 15/15 by the end of the game, but I keep 24 forests in my deck so the longer the game goes on the better he is. I usually attach this cool equipment to him that gives him +1/+1 for every creature I control.
I played a game during the summer and I got this forest creature up to 46/46 and it could fly.

I personally love playing a black exalted deck.

I used to have a Red/Black vampire burn deck but I broke it down and added the red cards to my Koth deck. I still have a ton of vampire and demon cards though.

draft. don't get too heavily invested into it. play lots of formats until you find what you like. net deck/forums

also, i think it is walmart that sells a 20 dolla deck building kit that comes with lands boosters and a bunch of current fodder, if you have a really small collection they are a good buy

Garruk (A planes walker, (aka Super mage)) are very powerful.
Neferox is a legendary creature and special lands are fairly uncommon.
