Every time I try to make a cool easter egg thread it gets no replies.
but dammit I'm determined
Favorite Video Game easter egg thread time now.
In Banjo-Tooie if you talk to Captain Bacl Eye enough he becomes dizzy enough that he says three random quotes. These quotes wont mean anything unless you know what he's talking about.
Quote 1 - "ARRR! I had a dream once..."
In this he's talking about Banjo-Tooies project code name "Project Dream"
Quote 2 - "I were in this fine game..."
This one doesn't have much meaning, it just connects quote 1 and 3 together
Quote 3 - "A bear stole me glory... Looked a bit like you did..."
It was later revealed that Captain Black Eye was supposed to be the main protagonist of Banjo-Tooie, but instead they decided to go with Banjo The Bear due to slow development issues

Lol I remember that door. That door sure is an asshole.
i was laughing so hard when i found it for the first time
So was I. I also laughed pretty hard when I first encountered the glitch that causes dead bodies to fly around while cartoonishly stretched out.
FO3 was just full of fantastic shit whether intentional or glitches. really sad that NV didn't have the same level of hilarity
Yeah. I couldn't believe that easter eggs were an option in NV. Seriously, without Wild Wasteland you wont see a single easter egg but you'll also miss out of a few things like the unique Gauss Rifle if you have WW on. It was pretty disappointing but New Vegas is a good game in its own right I believe. I ordered the GOTY editions of F3 and F:NV and they should arrive today if the package actually decides to move today, it's been sitting at the same outpost for almost two days now when normally it would be at a completely different outpost closer to my house.
I trade Enclave armor with the Outcasts so I have 2000 rounds of 556 right now and I have 8000 caps for buying more ammo. I should do alright when I get my GOTY edition of F3 tomorrow lol. Old World Blues for New Vegas was also a hard DLC. I tore through 1500 12mm rounds alone, I lost count on how my 556 and .308s I used as well.

It isn't really an easter egg but, in Kingdom Hearts 1 there are "secret bosses" one in the desert and one at the clock tower in Peter Pan's world. The boss at the clock tower is named after a fan that won the "Get your name in the game" contest.
