| Also, this proves even more. I'm trying to rationally explain why I dislike him, yet I get thumbed down for no reason. See, some of these people blindly follow other artists. Why not just take the time to think about where the other person is coming from? A lot of people have their reasonings for why they dislike artists. Maybe to some my opinion doesn't seem well thought out and blindly spoken. But I have listened to a bunch of his music and I simply do not like it. That doesn't mean that others can't. I am not the over ruler of music. I just speak my opinion, sometimes it seems a bit more harsh than what I intended. (in this case, I can't really say I didn't intend to inflict rage, because I did. But that wasn't the whole purpose.) You make a good point. I guess I never really looked at it that way. But at the same time, I feel as if that shouldn't inflate your ego and should rather make you respect your fans more. I know a lot of musicians that a lot consider the best and are as nice as can be and are very humble people. I don't personally think that because he was claimed the best should have caused his ego to inflate, rather be grateful and be proud of himself (in a good way, not like kanye) That is one of the biggest things I dislike when I look into music, if the person doesn't respect their fans a lot, it's a real turn off for me. I am not saying eminem disrespects his fans, but as far as my knowledge on him extends, he does. And I also don't think ones qualities should be judged on money and fame. If he has a big house, that doesn't mean anything to me. What means something to me is if he stays around after concerts and signs fans stuff and what not. Little things like that can make a person respect a musician more. | ||

| I don't like his style, I find him to try to hard at what he does. Does he make up good lyrics? Sure, in some of his songs, not all. Does he have good beats? Sure, in some of the songs. But I don't like his attitude either, I don't like his hugely inflated ego that he has NOW. He used to actually be chill and cool with everyone. Now he kinda seems like a dick from most of the stuff that I see of him (if you can show me evidence of him being kind, I will retract my previous statement.) And most of it is because my brothers overplayed the shit out of it when I was younger. Do I dislike him because he is rap? Hell no, I respect all genres as long as they can make music that helps someone in a certain way. Sure, Eminem does. And sure, I was a bit harsh when I said "mediocre". But I still dislike most of his work. people say he is the best white rapper and sometimes the best rapper in the world so that probably inflated his ego quite a bit and i think he try so hard because look where he came from and what he had to put up with when he was younger so he tries to be the best and there is no harm in trying to be the best i agree sometimes he lyrics are ok at best but others are pretty genius he used to live in a shit trailer park with his druggie mum and now he is worht over 40 million dollars hius house is fucking massive and lots of people think he is the best so i can see why he acts the way he does Also, this proves even more. | No, my favorite band is Iron Maiden and they're a pretty famous metal band. I simply do not like eminem. And half the reason I posted that comment was to get a reaction out of people. I was hoping that someone could actually rationally ask me why I dislike it, then try their best to explain if it's better than I think or not. But instead, I got flamed at (which I was expecting too, which is why I said give me all of your rage) But you see, when people freak out on you for having a different opinion, it's not going to make that person (in this part, me) like it (in this, eminem) more. It's going to make them hate it. But GJ to all who responded, twas nice while people were pissed. Just saying, man. You can respond to this however you please. | I really sometimes wish they would've gone with a more stealth approach to the gameplay. Like Far Cry 3, where you can choose to sneak around and kill enemies one by one, or you can run in guns blazing and massacre everyone. Don't get me wrong, the Halo series is probably my all time favorite, but I think that would add a nice touch. Then again, a Spartan is a literal walking tank so stealth would be unnecessary I suppose. #65 -
innocentbabies (01/18/2014) [-] But wouldn't that kill the guy who's, you know, smashing the nuclear reactor? inb4 nigel thornberry pics even in the early books, John and the other spartans would snap necks all the time. they were trained for stealth originally. something that sadly gets lost in the games. #142 -
twentyten (01/18/2014) [-] The weight of a car is distributed over the 4 wheels, while the weight of the suit is distributed over his feet. In fact, the load of each tire of a prius is more than the load on chief's legs. And chief is quiet for a genetically enhanced super-soldier in a half-ton suit. I think' it's just because if someone hit's you in the back, it implies that they snuck up on you, and thus are capable of killing you instantly. Futher realized visualy by the assassinations in Halo reach and 4. | ||
