That tends to be my reason. Sorry for not reading all of your responses, and i didn't detect mad, from the picture and "sigh" you just sounded jaded. I can see where you're coming from that the reaction seems a bit strong, but as others pointed out we don't have full situation just from this clip and i'm sure many, myself included aren't going through with the full effort of fact checking . But whether cops would equate it with jaywalking seems quite area dependent, since for example my hometown is quite keen on maintaining traffic laws. Sorry for this paragraph in addition to the other tons of flak you're getting for this comment, but them's the breaks i guess when you get 100+ thumbs on a crowd-dividing opinion. I know the feel.
