Go to the ER and sit around for a few hours. Get seen buy a nurse and she says the doc will be in to see me soon. After about 2 hours more nurses come in and start doing a safety check, looking for sharps in my bag and taking my shoes and belt. Thought it was a bit strange but have had a visit to the same ER for mental health a few years back so i thought it was just a thing they do due to my file. One nurse comes and put a new wrist nametag thing on me. I take a look at it and notice the D.O.B was wrong but the name was extremely close to mine. got to nurse station and show them, the fucked up and i almost spent 3 days in the loony bin. Gets sorted and get taken down for x-rays, differer nurse ask if i have pain and i said a lil. I get given one endone and 2 panadole "that didn't even help with the lil pain i had" gets cast/splint thing put on and sent home. Have had 2 visits back to the hospital and have to go back for more x-rays and maybe surgery next week. Point of this story is that it is all free. Imagine riding a bumper car and getting t-boned by another bumper car. That's what it felt like but about only half of the force. Being in a bumper car is more dangerous than being in a bus in this case. The odds are if you're in a bus accident and the bus loses, seat belts aren't going to save you.
