I mean, I'm not very good-looking, I have no social skills Probably because I was homeschooled almost all my life, no interaction with people that whole time , and I'm not the quickest thinker. As far as I know, I lack all the qualities that a girl looks for in a guy.

You have to step outside your comfort zone and take a plunge one way or another. Things that helped me deal with ****** life:

- Acknowledge that you may be a dope fiend. You may addicted to the feeling of dopamine in your brain released by gaming etc. As soon as you acknowledge that "good feelings" are literally a chemical release in your brain, you can begin to understand that feeling ****** is just part of life, a part that encourages progress.

-Everyone is depressed. Everyone has a secret. Everyone is insecure. People are concentrating so much on themselves that no one has time to notice any imagined imperfections you may have.

-No one expects every person in the world to be a ******* Chad. It doesn't make you less of a man if you're not trendy. I just hope you're young and have enough time in you to sort your problems out.

Yeah, but I never go outside my comfort zone. I can hardly talk to anyone, ever. I never go anywhere, really. I just stay home and play my games. It's partially because no one ever invites me anywhere, and partially because I don't want to go anywhere.

Well you know what bro, that's on you. To earn peoples respect, you have to be respectable and being respectable is stepping out your comfort zone to give yourself a basic human right - human interaction. I know how you feel man. It's hard to just pretend to be normal when everytihng going on in your life is telling you you're not. You feel as though you need to already be happy to engage people and make meaningful relationships but you're too miserable. It's hard to be funny when you're so down all the time too.

You know speaking to you makes me realise how life is really just about confidence. I too question my own worth but when I talk to you I realise it's just not real. You're not one of those fedora dudes, you're just a regular kid who's struggling like a lot of people your age are, and I think if you could look at yourself objectively without ego like I look at you now, you would be a lot more hopeful about your future.

Maybe you just need to know there's someone out there who isn't obliged to care, but still does.

As far as talking to people and stuff goes, there's no easy way. Just be nonchalant if you can. False confidence leads to confidence when you see how people respond.

You have to take a plunge some way or another. If not to just restore your faith in yourself to overcome adversity.
