Early on, you can choose either Lilly/Hanako or Shizune, and make choices depending. If you don't make either side happy, you end up on either Emi's route, or Rin's route. The following link is the full chart, but I don't recommend having it open for too long, otherwise you risk ruining the immersion.

That should take care of all questions relating to it.
