The 8th has a look already, an actor who played him. This guy was new and the 11th said in the season finale that this was a life that had nothing to do with The Doctor.

The story in Doctor Who says that the time war happened during the 8th incarnation. The Doctor still has 2 regenerations left, just ask anyone. The 12th is coming and there will be a 13th.
If by some chance the 12th is the last regeneration, get back to me in what... 3-5 years?

What Nyangiraffe says in a horribly annoying way is that we are on the 12th Doctor. It goes like this

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
8 --> Mysterious 9 during time war.
9 (who is actually 10), 10 (who is actually 11) and 11 (who is actually 12)

Hey, they ended Bleach's anime. Don't think One Piece is far off.
User avatar #11 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
Bleach started in 2001 and One Piece in 1999. One Piece was originally planned to last for 5 years, but is now at 14 years and they are just barely over half of the way. One Piece might last for another 5-10 years. Bleach anime is finished, but the manga is still on-going and I dont think I see an end to that manga this year. So I think One Piece is still pretty far off
#36 - feffted (06/05/2013) [-]
Well, Bleach is in its final arc right now. But, sadly, since it's Bleach...your prediction is most likely correct. I don't see it ending until mid next year.

The arc that Bleach is in now is pretty good though. I like it a lot, but the whole series has kinda dragged on for too long now

Eh, I don't really enjoy it. I mean, it's cool learning the backstory of Ichigo's dad, finally, but...there's a lot I don't like.

The two main issues I have: The character who spent roughly a year and a half training their asses off, got their asses handed to them. I mean, come on.

Along with that, the fact that Ichigo is (SPOILERS, HUEHUE) now part Quincy as well is just too far fetched for my tastes.
User avatar #12 - yuukoku (06/04/2013) [-]

Cowboy bebop wasn't the first anime ever made, it was just the first ever aired on Adult Swim.
User avatar #47 - yuukoku (06/05/2013) [-]
Yes, I know Cowboy Bebop wasn't the first anime ever made. It just goes way back. It was where we transitioned into anime having higher production standards and better voice acting in dubs. I'm not saying One Piece's dub has good voice acting, I'm just saying that it seems like it has higher production standards than something made before Bebop.

I don't think you got the memo... we are on the 12th incarnation of the man, but only the 11th Doctor
User avatar #7 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
What do you mean? The 11th doctor is the 11th incarnation
User avatar #8 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
Of "The Doctor" During the time war he went under his birth name.
User avatar #9 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
what has that got to do with anything? He is still the Doctor
User avatar #10 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
He only has 1 regeneration left, not two
User avatar #20 - mads (06/04/2013) [-]
he has an infinate amount left. They fixed the 13 thing
User avatar #24 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
Where did you hear this?
User avatar #27 - mads (06/04/2013) [-]
It was in the Sarah Jane Adventures which was what Moffat was writing at the time. the
'Doctor [Smith] and Clyde Langer [Daniel Anthony] are in the process of outwitting spooky vulture undertakers the Shansheeth, [when] Clyde asks how many times he can regenerate. The Doctor indicates that there is no limit. The action continues'
User avatar #101 - nyangiraffe (06/06/2013) [-]
He has also said 507 in the same series, so I think he was more or less teasing the viewers with that crap. The writers love to keep secrets.
User avatar #103 - mads (06/06/2013) [-]
They are really good at keeping secrets
User avatar #104 - nyangiraffe (06/06/2013) [-]
He could have 1 life left, or he could have 400+. We may never know until the day comes

1st --> 2nd
2nd --> 3rd
3rd --> 4th
4th -->5th
5th -->6th
6th --> 7th
7th --> 8th
8th --> 9th
9th --> 10th
10th --> 11th
11th --> 12th
12th -->13th
Matt Smith regenerates to 12th then we have one left

yeah, i haven't. i realize it now. But the John Hurt thing, I thought it was fake because how it fucked with the story, but apparently it wasn't... Feel bad now for arguing with nyangiraffe. If you see this, sorry >.<

User avatar #31 - stultum (06/04/2013) [-]
I wasn't that enthousiastic at first either, but the ep really warmed me up to the thing. It answered a few questions, but asked a lot of new ones too!

If you haven't seen it because you haven't found it yet, I can give you a link?
User avatar #32 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]

User avatar #12 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
Oh my dear god... You are the person that fails to understand. In one of his regenerations during the time war he did not use the name The Doctor because he did horrible evil things and he refused to do them under the name of The Doctor.

It goes

1st --> 2nd
2nd --> 3rd
3rd --> 4th
4th -->5th
5th -->6th
6th --> 7th
7th --> 8th
8th --> Doctor's real name
Doctor's real name --> 9th
9th --> 10th
10th --> 11th
11th --> 12th
User avatar #13 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
I get what you mean, but the Doctor still has 13 incarnations, even if he didn't go by the Doctor for one incarnation
User avatar #14 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
Yes, but that one life where he didn't use the name still counts. There are no do-overs on that kind of thing. So he only has 1 life left, he was not given a 1-up yet
User avatar #15 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
The time war happened during the Doctors 8th incarnation and he later regenerated to the ninth. There wasn't an extra in between the 8th and the 9th
User avatar #17 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
The 8th has a look already, an actor who played him. This guy was new and the 11th said in the season finale that this was a life that had nothing to do with The Doctor.
User avatar #18 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
The story in Doctor Who says that the time war happened during the 8th incarnation. The Doctor still has 2 regenerations left, just ask anyone. The 12th is coming and there will be a 13th.
If by some chance the 12th is the last regeneration, get back to me in what... 3-5 years?
#22 - tyraxio (06/04/2013) [-]
What Nyangiraffe says in a horribly annoying way is that we are on the 12th Doctor. It goes like this

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
8 --> Mysterious 9 during time war.
9 (who is actually 10), 10 (who is actually 11) and 11 (who is actually 12)
User avatar #25 - zilver (06/04/2013) [-]
Oh. Im not completely up to date and i thought the whole John Hurt thing was fake. Oh well... cant be right all the time
User avatar #23 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
Aye, I did say it in a horrible way, I do that a lot.
User avatar #19 - nyangiraffe (06/04/2013) [-]
My god child, did you even watch the Finale? They showed teh 8th when Clara was in the pit of the Doctor's time stream. The 8th regenerated and the one played by John Hurt was the one that was in the Time war. It is backed up by the same damn episode that the new Doctor (john) was shown
#29 - stultum (06/04/2013) [-]
