you're right, it is tough to imagine God letting such awful and bad things happen. But you have to remember that there is evil in this world. And God is in control over all but satan still has power and people choose to ignore God and his desires for a proper way of life and that is where evil comes in.

well i can not attest to that statement becasue that is a generalization taken from probably a few instances.

AS I"VE SAID BEFORE, bad things are hard to take for anyone. but Christians believe that God is in control and while that doesnt always alleviate the hurt it does give some sense to things in a senseless world.

I have already started I started that day i posted that.

read again. i never said nothing bad can happen to you. bad stuff does happen (alot) and it hurts just as bad to a "extremist Christian" as to the worst atheist.

The difference is that Christians understand a larger purpose that their small lives. who knows, maybe in that bad situation somebody else got something good out of it.
