| So, you can't like someone for the content for who they are, but what their genitalia is? Chances are I don't, but, I like to act like I know. SO. . . Yeah, that is bad, but, I don't think you should hate them all, and I don't think that they should hate you for your gender. | ||

justtocomment (05/12/2013) [-] If Animaniacs were released now, it'd be considered bad taste. Like Zerum said, none of it was subtle. Many of the adult jokes were quite blatant such as the "Finger Prince" one, they just flew by the kids watching the show, and the adults just laughed with it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CG9-SCVc-E0 enjoy just around 9-10 minutes of blatant adult humor. Remember whenever Yakko would say "Goodnight Everbody"? That followed a sexual innuendo every time. Every. Time. And I'm not sure what part of the show volto up there forgot to watch, but the female animals and humans were constantly well-endowed whenever they were supposed to come off as sexy for the brothers. Seriously, I love the show, always have, but only someone who never actually watched the show could think that it wasn't insanely vulgar. #34

justtocomment (05/12/2013) [-] No, actually, the standard has greatly risen. I'm not sure what universe you're dicking around in, but the standard was much more lax even 10 years ago. What was appropriate has changed, and you'd have to be 12 to have not noticed. Shows are definitely becoming more lax again, but I remember for awhile even Spongebob was deemed inappropriate by mothers everywhere just because Patrick and Spongebob seemed a little too gay for each other, while when the Lion King came out, no one got all homophobic about Timon and Pumba. At the time, it wasn't considered all that vulgar, and since kids didn't get it anyway, what did it matter? But then parents got awkward about their kids asking, so they got a little more tense about what was acceptable. It was vulgar then, and it's vulgar now. They just didn't care as much back in the day when you could let your kids hang out in the shelf behind the backseat of the car, or you'd let your kids go fuck around in the neighborhood all day without having to get a sitrep every 15 minutes, or when you could ask your neighbor to just keep an ear out for your kids, and go to the store. The standard changed, and it really wasn't all that long ago. | ||

I took Tae Kwon Do for a little. I don't think it would have helped me, since most fights were hair pulling, head locks, and cheap shots.
I never "hit the gym" either.
That's probably why I was targeted in the first place.
The one time I went to the school's gym I was laughed out and never went back.
