Check your settings. there should be an option to show the link in there. After selecting it, it should show up in the upper right hand corner.

Upbringing has a huge effect. I have family in Mauritius where people have a bad upbringing in general. No aspirations other than to make music + smoke weed all day. parents either barely care or are too busy fighting each other to raise their kids if they are even together at all. they have 2-3x the homicide rate of he UK with none of it being gun related. I personally think US in particular seems so caught up with the fact it is number 1 (in economy) that there is no drive to solve the issues it has. then again I'd still be for a multi pronged support because changing the education system/ people's attitude to work may take years but removing no-gun zones and implementing safeguards could also have an impact soon if there wasn't mindless opposition. the statistic for homicide is done by murders per 1000 people though

UK has 4-5x less homicides than the US in general just thought I'd catch you on that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate However, a lot of this is down to stupid shit, Obviously if everyone has a gun there is far more of a deterrent to trying to kill someone because you will probably die. Similarly if guns are very heavily regulated like the UK, a psycho will have a lot harder time killing someone. What I will never get is people who try to half measure it. People who won't carry around a gun on principle. People who set up "gun free zones" because that absolutely guarantees that only criminals will have the guns.

TL: DR - Go hard or go home

I completely agree that there shouldn't be any gun free zones. Why else would there be so many school shootings. Plus you just have to look at places like LA and Chicago that have really strict gun control laws, but at the same time the highest homicide rates in the country. Whilst it is true that the UK does have homicide rate around 5x less than the US, I would also like to point out the fact that the US has Approximately 5x the population size of the UK.

I personally think the answer to all of this is a better education and upbringing. If less parents raised their kids in front of a television and made an effort to spend time with them and educate to think for themselves and seek knowledge then the world wouldn't be such a fucked up place.

you ought to mention that this is infact the real world to them, not just a game.

The anime is doing a rather poor job at showing how serious things are, it's missing out all the moments Bell was on the verge of death until now and there wasn't even a hint that people are actually dying in the dungeon and etc.
