They do have uses! It's where he stores his technomobobbers, so he can hear certain people - It's a telecommunications application. It also helps keep the wind out of his ears, though that's not exactly an issue, because Speed Force.

I have poor social skills. I only put on that face while working retail where the customers roam. I don't like it when they try to keep talking, I put on a fake smile and try my best not to tell them to fuck off because I got things to do. It's apart of the job. Though one thing I cannot get mad at is someone not knowing where something is, especially if they seem like theyre in a rush. Don't assume things about retail employees when you're asking for help. It is literally their job to help you first and to their full ability.

You still don't understand. We don't assume you're being an asshole. We assume you don't know the store's layout and will best help you to the knowledge we have. However asking "Do you work here" can make things go on longer and is unnecessary and just annoys any retail employee whos been there more than a week.

I know that you wont assume that someone is an asshole for asking something. But get along with people with poor social skills and they assume that you will assume that they are assholes.

Have you ever worked retail? Because it doesn't sound like you do. We are there to serve the customer and being asked a useless question like "do you work here" only distracts us from doing our jobs, be it a second. The best way to approach an retail employee is to tell them you need help. They won't mentally get annoyed by that at all.

And you are the right i never worked retail, the closest i can think of was being a host at Mcd's

I know that the employee's dont mind being asked to help and would prefer if not to be asked these questions cause they hear them alot. But people dont want to look like an asshole even though almost everyone is.

Also i am just trying to find an explanation as to why people ask if you work there, i usually just look around until i find what i am looking for.

**tehtrollface used "*roll picture*"**
**tehtrollface rolled image**If they know you work there, than all you need to do is come up to us and ask for assistance. If you cannot provide the knowledge necessary than you should help the customer find the person who can. It's that simple.
