 Yea, I was pretty damn sure of it too, but the two people I was with weren't sure about it when I said that. I also have a question on something I'm not sure of, is that blue lightsaber Anakin's? Cause I know Luke had a green saber, so the blue one has to be Anakin's which was OBi-Wan's before Anakin, and so on. well good Ol' Ben (or Obi-Wan, whatever) gave it to luke in the 4th one, then he lost it in cloud city when he got his hand cut off (or so my friend tells me, i don't remember exactly) and then he got the green one which i think he threw over into the core of the deathstar so they must have gotten the blue one from somewhere I remember that woman/alien whoever in the bar like place had it in the basement, and I remember her being able to look into someone' s eyes to see their relatives or whatever, so maybe she knew that lightsaber had the high value and kept it for that perfect person, Rey, since she knew it went as far back as Obi-wan or Anakin. | ||

| Ehh, in the canon force ghost isn't really something that happens to you, you really have to be strong with the force before death. In the words of Han himself, "That's not how the Force works".  Yeah it was like Death Star x10. They called him Supreme Commander Snoke or something. I think it was Snoke. Yeah, I don't think he's really a giant, he probably just has a huge ego. I read that he was mo-capped by Andy Serkis, which is cool. New Emperor replacement I guess. #123 -

| Oh hell yeah, totally agree. And I loved how terrifying the lightsabers were. They felt unstable. Everything had a lot more devastation to it. Some scenes were brutal. There was one part near the end where a stormtrooper runs towards Finn (I think) and he shoots him in the chest, then the stormtrooper flies forward and faceplants, and his entire back curves with the force of the fall. Brutal. #122 -
anon (12/18/2015) [-] If you pay close attention to the light saber fight at the end you can see that Kylo Ren's light saber beam is unstable compared to the pure beam of Anikin's light saber, likely due to shotty craftsmanship or those funky cross gaurds. People tend to forget that after order 66 and the extinction of the Jedi, a lot of knowledge and experience was lost. Luke was trained by two people using the Cliff Notes: How to be a Jedi training course. Kylo likely wanted it for sentimental reasons but also to learn how to make a proper light saber.  I figured luke had this all planned. Everything works out through plans in this universe. like...there's no way it wasn't planned. Yeah, a few things didn't add up. Like the chunk of the map they had, when that slotted into the full map of the galaxy, it was at least 1/6th of the entire galaxy, yet Leia said it was in uncharted space and they had no way of pinpointing the location without the full map. Did you see how many hundreds of stars and planets were in that chunk of map? How could that much of the galaxy still be uncharted, how could they not use a single piece of that as a frame of reference for Luke's position? It does need a second viewing for sure. Hey, at least it was better than the prequels. | ||

| He struck me more as a bratty wannabe trying his best to be like his grandfather (Vader). The way he flips shit with every piece of bad news and hacks things to pieces with his lightsaber. I'm pretty sure he killed that one guy who told him that "they got away" or something. I definitely see a confrontation between him and Leia in the next episode. Not sure how that will go down, I just hope Kylo gets what he deserves rather than reforming at the last second. He's nothing like Vader. Also it felt a bit like they were implying the new Jedi girl (think she is called Rey) as Luke's daughter or something? I mean, the way she got all those visions when she got near Luke's lightsaber, the way she used the force and managed to hold off Kylo without any prior training... Yeah. And Kylo Ren is obviously still alive, I just hope they don't do a Darth Vader thing where he turns against his masters at the end. I got it spoiled for me about 4 hours before I saw the movie. | nah, harrison's been begging to be killed off since a new hope. he even said he'd only do return of the jedi if he got killed off, but lucas talked him out of it. he also only signed a two picture deal for the original trilogy. honestly, I think he should have survived then gotten killed off in episode viii. it would have made more of an impact. yeah, but that's how you get twilight breaking dawn part one and two. and that's not how star wars is. they do it all in one go usually. i would have enjoyed it. hell, revenge of the sith was supposed to be 4 hours originally, but lucas wanted to make the whole coruscant battle like...two hours long alone. it would've given them more time to explain things, would've been good to get some more filler even, like the bar scene, they could've added in more in there, i'm not sure when but even them talking for a little longer would be cool (not like 10 minutes but like 4-5 minutes maybe) That's the only thing I'm not 100% sure on how it happened, but I'm surprised I understand everything else 100%. Also, I don't know much about the actor who played Leia, but she looks like shit doesn't she? I know she did drugs for many years before stopping, but still. She looked so different than I expected and out of place. He lost soooo much weight for the role since he did mostly voice acting till now, it's crazy. I'm guessing this is the same concept. well i didn't actually think he was giant but if he is that's going to be one hell of a battle scene, and now luke is in it also, watch him sacrifice himself in some way and Rey will be all "it's up to me to save the galaxy!" then luke will be all back if force version or something it's going to be the ending to Tron legacy all over again, i can see it now, and i don't think he would qualify but if Leia is stronger than luke in the force (i think my friend told me she actually is but doesn't use it or anything) then i guess by him being with her or something there could be some force ghosting going on or something, they'll find a way to drag him back somehow Tell me Are the two leads Rei and finn as boring and annoying that the trailers have made them look? It was kinda predictable, but I don't think it was stupid. If anything, it'll serve as motivation for the other characters. And Kylo Ren is obviously still alive, I just hope they don't do a Darth Vader thing where he turns against his masters at the end. I got it spoiled for me about 4 hours before I saw the movie. Such shitty luck. He struck me more as a bratty wannabe trying his best to be like his grandfather (Vader). The way he flips shit with every piece of bad news and hacks things to pieces with his lightsaber. I'm pretty sure he killed that one guy who told him that "they got away" or something. I definitely see a confrontation between him and Leia in the next episode. Not sure how that will go down, I just hope Kylo gets what he deserves rather than reforming at the last second. He's nothing like Vader. Also it felt a bit like they were implying the new Jedi girl (think she is called Rey) as Luke's daughter or something? I mean, the way she got all those visions when she got near Luke's lightsaber, the way she used the force and managed to hold off Kylo without any prior training... Yeah. That's maybe a little too predictable. possibly because he didn't want to put her in danger, maybe. although that begs the question, "Why leave her on some backwater planet like jakku?" yeah, it's weird. that's honestly the only thing that doesn't add up. Yea, I was pretty damn sure of it too, but the two people I was with weren't sure about it when I said that. I also have a question on something I'm not sure of, is that blue lightsaber Anakin's? Cause I know Luke had a green saber, so the blue one has to be Anakin's which was OBi-Wan's before Anakin, and so on. well good Ol' Ben (or Obi-Wan, whatever) gave it to luke in the 4th one, then he lost it in cloud city when he got his hand cut off (or so my friend tells me, i don't remember exactly) and then he got the green one which i think he threw over into the core of the deathstar so they must have gotten the blue one from somewhere I remember that woman/alien whoever in the bar like place had it in the basement, and I remember her being able to look into someone' s eyes to see their relatives or whatever, so maybe she knew that lightsaber had the high value and kept it for that perfect person, Rey, since she knew it went as far back as Obi-wan or Anakin. I guess that stuff will be cleared up in the next one. If Kylo Ren was actually a talented fighter, he might have actually killed her. Luckily, he's hot-headed. Also, why the fuck did she have to walk up a couple hundred steps at the end when there was more than enough room to land the ship on the clearing right next to Luke? i'm going to need to watch the movie again now, because he didn't wake up the first time then all of a sudden it was just "oh hey, R2 found the rest of the map or something!" then that was it, it seemed like they couldn't figure out a way to get them the rest of the map I figured luke had this all planned. Everything works out through plans in this universe. like...there's no way it wasn't planned. Yeah, a few things didn't add up. Like the chunk of the map they had, when that slotted into the full map of the galaxy, it was at least 1/6th of the entire galaxy, yet Leia said it was in uncharted space and they had no way of pinpointing the location without the full map. Did you see how many hundreds of stars and planets were in that chunk of map? How could that much of the galaxy still be uncharted, how could they not use a single piece of that as a frame of reference for Luke's position? It does need a second viewing for sure. Hey, at least it was better than the prequels. | ||
