There are many reasons, but it is mostly because of the apple shit. Also touting that you are a "genius" isn't really a large feat, It's mostly gloating that you have above average computer experience, which everyone ripping on you had and more, such as actual programming experience, which you obviously do not, since all you do is Graphic design.

There is not a single hard drive designed by apple. not a single video card designed by apple. not a single stick of ram designed by apple. not a single CPU designed by apple. the screen itself, again, not designed by apple, they just said "we want something with a high resolution" and they got it.

Creative suite does NOT run faster on Apple computers, that is just placebo from switching from a $300 windows machine with shitty specs to a $1500 apple machine with okay specs. go spend the same amount on a windows machine and tell me again that creative suite runs better on apple computers.

get a two computers with the same specs, one with osx, one with windows, and run all the applications you know simultaneously. I can pretty much guarantee that they will both get almost the exact same benchmarks, whether it be on creative suite, or if it is on a game, it will run the same.
