Actually it means "the face when". "That feeling when" wouldn't even work in most contexts. Would they post a picture of the word "envy" or something and say "that feeling when"? It makes no sense. Plenty of faces are provided, however.

*sigh* except if you live in a state that swings 90% for one party or another, then the candidate wins the whole state, and your vote still counts for nothing. Not that it matters, because both parties are complete shit anyways, and voting for a third party is just a waste of time. I can't think of a single president that was voted in from a third party.

Vote for members of congress too. If your state sees more growth in the third party candidates, then they will grow to one day support them rather than the republican/democratic leader that represents some of their views that the parties share. Change cannot happen if you throw away what little influence you have. if you do nothing, nothing will change.

If everyone "throws their vote away" on a lesser party and it wins then how the hell is that throwing your vote away?

If you don't vote how is that any less "throwing your vote away"?

If everyone views not voting for one of the two big parties as "throwing your vote away" then it will never stop being "throwing your vote away".
User avatar #98 - adu (03/29/2015) [-]
I told you I don't vote. Even if I cared enough about a third party, I don't have the time or energy to research the person chosen to represent it. Presidents are chosen by the Electoral College votes, not by the citizen's vote. My vote does literally nothing in determining legislature. It's just a piece of a useless statistic.

That is practicing defeatism if I've ever seen it. If there's ever a way to give up on the governing systems and let idiots win it over, it's just giving up. Giving up and never choosing anything. You're complaining about a system but doing nothing to change it.

Do you throw your vote away on a third party or on nothing? I prefer a third party, because if enough people do that the third party would eventually win. There is a hypothetical, albeit scarce, chance that the third party can win. Unless no one EVER votes, then the other two parties would win if everyone just doesn't vote.

Yup. And that's why I don't vote. I've voted only once in my life, for a candidate that I affectionately referred to as "Not Obama." I later realized how unhelpful the mindset was, and just how many other useless clods voted that way. So I just decided not to degrade myself by doing it again. Voting for the least-worst candidate feels like an exercise in self-subjugation and defeatism. Pic related.

I had the same though just a few hours ago as a rewatched some episodes

Kind of like Dragonball with human / saiyajin hybrids.

I love this show - It became very cool and plot heavy after the first bunch of goofy episodes -

BUT i do fear the SU / UG crossover . Can't stand Uncle Grandpa - you could me torture with that shit way worse than waterboarding ever could.

But let's wait and see what happens next .
User avatar #29 - zaperzero (03/29/2015) [-]
I have worries about it. But, I'm not entirely against it, I see Uncle Grandpa as having more potential than a lot of similar..."shows" if we can call them that. Take for instance the fact it's less hideous than Johnny Test, Problem Solverz, and Tolder Titans Go! are.

The problem is that it limits you to only having one of two opinions.
Want a stable economy? Guess you hate gays now.
Want the country to cut back on military spending? Guess you hate soldiers and want to murder babies.

It's horseshit that voting for marriage equility for LGBT folks also means voting for taxes that go to retarded shit like Obamacare.
#93 - Ken M (03/29/2015) [-]
It wasn't always like that, that's actually a fairly new thing to the U.S. in our history. It's because the parties are more polarized than we've seen in a really long time.
User avatar #97 - adu (03/29/2015) [-]

Ah, that's understandable. Aww, I love beta fish! They're so pretty. That sounds cool. I wouldn't want one myself, though, haha. I kinda want a python or a parrot, but ehh I don't fancy cleaning up poop.
