The whole point of it is that Saitama is a Foil, a character used specifically to contrast other characters. If you pay attention, literally every other character is super interesting, regardless of how strong or week or weird they are. Honestly, it's supposed to be a comedy, with the good art behind it to just be awesome. If that's not your thing than whatever

You have to pay attention to the dozens of other characters as well. They're pretty interesting, which is supposed to contrast Saitama's extremely boring personality.

Because its supposed to be a parody of classic shounen. Surely you noticed 90% of the dialog is gloating. Its supposed to be against the formula of "This isnt even my final form" where theres always someone going stronger until saitama shows up and pretend that whole dick mesuring contest was for nothing.

"Im tiny mobling whatever humans are so puny hahaha"/"Hello im hero rank whatever and im destroy you easily"/"Aha im villain boss im here to destroy you hero"/"Well im super hero high ranking you cant beat me"/"Well im mega boss deathlord no one can beat me" until saitama comes in "hey can you stop" and the guy dies.
But if you dont find humor in that its a personal thing its not like you are wrong, just that for someone like me that has disliked that shounen formula for a while i liked it.
