Well, you don't know the full program I wrote obviously and understandably. I had way to many stop checks to assume that a password of just numbers passed of 7 characters. But, notice this, crackable password is not the same as hackable.

Something hackable means that you can bypass the security. Something crackable means someone can guess the password, something that will always be possible without a 2 key verification, of which one is physical.

Also, as I said, I only briefly touched what I did to the password. A full explanation would be a scientific paper. I was just doing that system for fun so I really went overkill with the systems security as it was not meant to be used in production anyhow. The reason I shortened the execution time per password to ~6s was purely for debug purposes. If it was what I planned it to be if ever put to use, it would be a pain in the ass to debug.

Once again, that part there was only a fraction of the behemoth of security I implemented. Also, scrypt > bcrypt, though I personally utilized several hash algorithms in different ways.

Still though, a brute force attack will always be possible, the question is if someone has the patience to wait a eternity for it to find the key. By then the system would have been rebuilt several times over and any victims would have been long since dead.

Quantum computers however may change some of that, as quantum safe encryption is still a pretty new field and there are really no good algorithms tested and proved yet, only theories.

There will however always be work around that even a "perfect" system can't do shit about as long as it is single key based. Keyloggers, screen loggers, hijacked clients etc. will always be a problem.

But once again, that was only a small part of the system I built that I described. So I can honestly claim that the system itself was impenetrable for the usage case that it was built for.

Oh god are you serious? I just finished reading one punch man, and I remember a character (who got his ass kicked by a monster) named golden balls!

I can tell you for a fact the craziest dancers i have ever seen are white. Stop stereotyping because of what you see in the media, from London to Bangkok in over 30 countries all the clubs I've been to there is always a skinny white dancer made of jello. Black dancers are in the US, rest of the world the best dancers are white, look at all the talent competitions around the world if you don't believe me
#13 - stalini (03/07/2015) [-]
that's fucking retarded stereotype which mostly comes from USA.
White people are great dancers in Europe, except Germanic people.

I read that as "The Hate Doctor." And I was thinking "Well, he did say he's German, so I guess they changed it to be more understandable for their culture."
