Well, basically he's just never beaten Superman, he's gotten the better of him but that's about it. People always say Batman could just bust out some kryptonite but as I said before, Superman has beaten guys like Kryptonite Man. Besides that, Superman can move at speeds faster than human thought, he could burn Batman from orbit if he wanted with heat vision, or in the new 52 comics Superman can emit all kinds of radiation from his eyes (invisible too), he could kill Batman that way as well

Also people say he could beat anyone in the justice league just because he made plans to be able to defeat them, thing is Ra's Al Ghul actually stole those plans in Tower of Babel, made them more deadly, and he still lost, granted a few of the plans worked out, but Ra's still lost in the end. Only in non-canon comics has Batman ever won, I believe one of the times by making himself immortal and waiting for our sun to turn red so he could beat Superman (supes loses his powers under a red sun)
