I personally don't even like the show that much, and own maybe one or two shirts about it that I almost never even wear. I myself can't imagine why anyone would devote their whole lives to it.

It did at first, but when I thought about it, and went back over all the facts in my mind, all the experiences I've had with haters, yes. It made perfect sense. I'm fairly certain I clarified that. Adding to what Lillpip said, There is no such thing as a hater who doesn't hate. There are, however, Bronies that aren't over-the-top maniacs. YOu people are suggesting otherwise.

Can you name a brony that doesn't watch the show? That's basically the same question, and the same way you say there are bronies who don't talk about the show there are people who hate the show who don't say anything.

But this is addressing the main point about "Bronies" and "Haters"
Haters don't like bronies because of their obnoxiousness, and bronies don't like haters because of their outright hating. Not all bronies are obnoxious. And if someone doesn't like the bronies, they're not a hater. A hater hates the show, and is typically not exactly nice about it.

If you want to take traits from bronies and haters, we could just say they're the same thing because they both breathe air.

You are trying to say that haters can't be haters unless they openly oppose the show, meanwhile saying that bronies can be bronies without making a big deal out of the show, it just doesn't logic.

Hater is a stigma used against people who hate something unconditionally, and make a big deal out of it. If "Hater" was anyone who didn't like something, than what's the point of it even existing if everyone is a hater? That's not logical if you ask me.

You obviously have a very broad perpective on the word "hater" the context I'm using it in is specifically people who dislike MLP and the fandom surrounding it, not everyone who hates anything.
